One of the most daunting aspects of fertility care is the fact that most patients have many questions, but they don’t know where to reliably find answers. In this Information Age, there are so many options at your fingertips that it can be difficult to know where to get good, accurate information. At Fertility Institute of Texas, we want to be your first source for answers to all of your fertility questions and concerns, and we also want to provide you with trustworthy resources to access at your leisure.
If at any time you have questions regarding your care, medications, treatment options or financial concerns, we strongly encourage you to call our office or contact Dr. Hudson or one of the staff through the Patient Portal. We are here to make your journey to becoming a parent as smooth as possible. We strive to educate you on your options for evaluation and treatment, so you can rest assured that you are receiving the best care for your unique situation.
Appointment Scheduling and What to Expect
Patients are seen by appointment only. To schedule your appointment, please call our office Monday through Friday between 7:30 am and 4:30 pm:

We try to go by the patient’s appointment time and not the time the patient arrives. We will do our best to honor your appointment time because we understand that your time is valuable. If an emergency and other unexpected occurrence causes an unforeseen delay, we will try to inform you as soon as possible.
On your first visit, please arrive ten minutes early. Bring a list of current medications and copies of your medical records.

The telephone can be an important link between you and Dr. Hudson. We welcome and encourage you to call the office if you have a problem, question, or need to get in touch with us for any reason. For phone calls after office hours, the on-call service will connect you with the physician on-call. Our support staff are highly trained to answer many of your questions. If your concerns require Dr. Hudson’s direct attention, please be assured that they will return your call as soon as possible. If you have a medical emergency, please call 911 or go directly to the nearest emergency room.
Fertility Institute of Texas participates in most managed care plans. Please bring your insurance identification card with you to your appointments, as we cannot provide care without a plan card or another type of insurance verification.
Each insurance carrier has specific guidelines that must be followed regarding referrals from primary care doctors, precertifications, etc. Our staff will do everything we can to help make the insurance referral and verification process go smoothly. Please notify our office immediately if there are any changes to your insurance policy.
